Small crowds gathering outside Avenue. Now is the easiest time to get in as inside is sparsely populated. Guys can get in if they have no girls, but they must do a minimum bar tab of $200 per person. Some girls are being turned away for not looking good enough to the door staff, but if you are with a promoter group, you will have no issues getting in.
$5 for any draft of your choice at The Royal tonight. A lenient door policy tonight with no staff outside. A very good looking crowd in their mid twenties. There is no music playing as the audio for the Finals game is on all speakers.
A popular Murray Hill bar tonight. Half price on all appetizers and half priced bottles of wine. An older, upscale crowd so far tonight mixed evenly with guys and girls. The Heat/Spurs game is on the main TV screens with some MLB games on smaller TV's.
It is packed inside The 13th Step tonight. Slightly more guys than there are girls. There are tables set up in the back for beer pong and flip cup. Not the best place to go if you are looking to meet someone new for the evening as many groups that came in are sticking with one another and not much mingling among strangers. The Heat/Spurs game is on all TV's on the main bar; there is a separate room in the back with it's own bar and beer pong tables.
Packed with college kids and recent grads, SideBar is fun, loud, and wild environment. The bar is still serving food, and the separate back room is the best place to go for dinner. Drinking games as the Heat/Spurs game is playing on all screens. Thiis is a crowd that is drinking heavily and doesn't seem like they have plans to stop anytime soon. No line, everyone is getting in, just have your ID to show the bouncer.
Village Pourhouse is comfortably packed with a good looking, low key crowd tonight. Very good looking girls in here, guys who are still in their suits from work, and then there is a mix of the young, college crowd. Half price on all pitchers, which comes out to $6-8 per pitcher depending on the type of beer you order.
No drink specials at Penrose tonight; beers are averaging $6 whether it is bottled or draft. A low key environment filled mostly with couples and small groups of friends having casual drinks; even ratio of guys and girls. There is no music playing.
Mad River is a popular Upper East Side spot tonight as the Heat/Spurs game is being shown on all TV's right now. The drink special tonight is $3 Coors Light Drafts, $3 Bud Light bottles, and $4 Captain Morgan mixed drinks. No music playing as the commentary from the Heat game is playing on the speakers.
